Are you interested in being an integral part of science? We invite you to join us in our ongoing scientific field research projects. After all, the best way to learn is to get out and experience!
Adopt an Ephemeral Wetland
We are looking for students, teachers, families, and other volunteers interested in helping us monitor amphibian populations in the ephemeral wetlands south of Tallahassee. You will be fully trained and provided all the equipment you need, including small nets that even toddlers can use. Email Rebecca ([email protected]) if you are interested in getting involved or click here for more info.
Stop the Invaders!
Here is an opportunity to be a part of a survey team to look for invasive species on St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. As a volunteer for this project, you will work on a team to survey established transects and monitoring plots on the Refuge, looking for invasive plants and evidence of feral hog damage. If you missed the Nov 9th info meeting and field training but are interested in participating, please contact Rebecca ([email protected]).
