Remote Footprints is gearing up for an exciting Project Remote 2014 campaign. We will travel to the interior West and Great Plains and take a stab at the remotest location on the mainland of the contiguous United States… in Wyoming (over 20 miles from a road)!
But documenting the Remote Spots is just part of the story. Your contributions help us elevate awareness nationwide about the alarming extent of the U.S. road system and the importance of protecting the “remoteness” of remaining roadless areas. Just check out our media page if you wonder how well your donations are working. From NPR interviews to podcasts, from New York Times to Oprah Magazine, we are spreading the word about the importance of these wildlands. Our website has received over 110,000 ‘hits’ from around the world!
With a greater number of people connected to the outdoors, the likelihood that we save something wild for the future increases.
Please join us in this effort and please consider making a tax-deductible contribution. Contributions of $20 and up will receive this cool new sticker.
Select one of the Donation Levels below then click ‘Add to Cart’. Your donations are tax deductible and we will email you a receipt for your tax records. We have virtually no overhead so you can be confident that your money will be directly applied to our mission. We deeply appreciate your contribution to this incredibly worthwhile endeavor.
