Are you interested in being an integral part of science? We invite you to join us in our ongoing scientific field research projects. After all, the best way to learn is to get out and experience!
Building Communities that Conserve Wetlands
This project includes 2 programs: What Lives in the Wetland and Adopt an Ephemeral Wetland. Both programs are based in the Munson Sandhills of the Apalachicola National Forest. Click here to access our project-specific website.
Stop the Invaders!
Here is an opportunity to be a part of a survey team to look for invasive species on St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. As a volunteer for this project, you will work on a team to survey established transects and monitoring plots on the Refuge, looking for invasive plants and evidence of feral hog damage. If you missed the Nov 9th info meeting and field training but are interested in participating, please contact Rebecca ([email protected]).
